Overview

Consultant role focused on data engineering and analytics delivery, including translating business requirements into technical specifications and building dashboards and solutions.

What you'll do

• Create detailed BRD, HLD, process flows, cost/resource estimates, and project planning artifacts for regulatory and audit needs.
• Understand business processes and multiple data sources/systems and convert business requirements into technical specifications.
• Extract data from systems, build processes, develop visualization dashboards, and handle ad-hoc queries using SQL, PL/SQL, and Power BI.
• Develop scalable, repeatable solutions using Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence infrastructure with data governance and enterprise integrations.
• Identify opportunities to enhance value along the data chain and ensure issues are tracked and resolved.
• Plan and manage meetings with stakeholders (Business, Risk, Compliance, IT) and document discussions.
• Support business and technical aspects of Data and Analytics projects and participate in special projects as needed.

What you'll need

• 7–10 years of experience as a Data Engineer/Database Developer in RDBMS such as Oracle or SQL Server with data architecture/modelling skills.
• Mandatory experience in database development using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Conceptual understanding of data modelling and data warehousing is required.
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, computer applications, data analytics, or a related field.
• Knowledge of ETL tools such as DataStage or Informatica Power Center is beneficial.
• Intermediate knowledge of a data visualization tool such as Power BI is advantageous.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills are required.
