Consultant – Digital Health and AI, Digital Health, AI & Medtech

Overview

Consultant providing strategic and technical advisory support for digital health, health systems technology, interoperability, data governance and AI-enabled solutions. The role supports government stakeholders and partners across the design, implementation and scale-up of digital health and AI initiatives.

What you'll do

• Develop digital health strategies, roadmaps and implementation plans.
• Advise on digital health architecture, interoperability, data exchange and infrastructure.
• Assess AI and emerging technology opportunities, solutions and vendors.
• Support digital health programmes from requirements definition through rollout and transition to government ownership.
• Engage government stakeholders and translate technical issues into recommendations.
• Lead technical reports, frameworks, implementation plans, presentations and knowledge products.

What you'll need

• 15+ years of professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Health Informatics or a related discipline.
• Experience in digital health, health information systems or government technology programmes.
• Experience working with central or state governments in India.
• Strong understanding of digital health architecture, interoperability and technology implementation.
• Experience translating programme requirements into technology solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Postgraduate qualification in technology, public health, health informatics or a related field.
• Experience with AI/ML applications in health.
• Knowledge of India's digital health ecosystem, including ABDM.
• Experience developing procurement documents, RFPs, technical specifications or vendor assessments.
• Experience with large-scale public health programmes.
• Experience working with development partners, foundations or international organisations.
