ELV Design Engineer

Overview

Manage regional design engineers delivering post-sales design support for IBMS, fire detection, and gas-based suppression systems.

What you'll do

• Review project technical specifications and requirements.
• Prepare technical submittals and shop drawings for approval and execution.
• Prepare schematics, P&IDs, isometric layouts, hydraulic calculations, SOPs, and DDC schedules.
• Coordinate with architects, clients, and contractors throughout projects.
• Ensure project execution with zero customer complaints.
• Improve design processes, work practices, and standard procedures.

What you'll need

• 8–15 years of IBMS design experience.
• Degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation engineering.
• Knowledge of IBMS and firefighting systems.
• Knowledge of fire alarm, public address, CCTV, ACS, physical security, and intruder alarm systems.
• Knowledge of BMS shop drawings and gaseous systems including FM-200, CO2, and inert gas.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience with Python scripting and Windows software application testing.
