Consultant - SAP FICO (Functional Consultant)

Overview

Consultant (SAP FICO) responsible for translating business needs into SAP FI/CO solutions and supporting core financial processes at global scale.

What you'll do

• Triage, analyze, and resolve SAP FI/CO issues reported by business users.
• Gather requirements and design/configure SAP FI/CO change and enhancements.
• Lead and optimize procure-to-pay and order-to-cash to FI integrations and related data flows.
• Partner with finance, procurement, and operational teams to capture requirements and guidance.
• Create functional specifications, test plans, and user documentation.
• Support period-end close, reconciliations, and audit/control readiness for FI/CO processes.

What you'll need

• Broad functional knowledge in the FI and CO domain, with good technical knowledge in FI/CO modules.
• Work experience in core FI/CO modules and integrations such as p2p to FI and FI to S/OTC.
• Experience with interfaces, WBS, IDocs, and Z developments (as part of FI/CO work).
• Domain understanding of accounting and controlling processes such as period-end close and profitability analysis (global environment).

• Location: India - Chennai.
• In-person working with an average minimum of three days per week from the office.
