Software Engineer I - Test

Overview

Software Engineer I - Test is a developer and manual & automation tester role responsible for verifying product quality. The role is on-site in Bengaluru and reports to the Engineering Manager.

What you'll do

• Analyze product requirements to define test strategies, verification approaches, acceptance criteria, and project test plans.
• Design, develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Automate existing manual tests and support test development and execution.
• Perform defect analysis and root-cause investigation and prepare test documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement for test techniques, automation frameworks, and testing environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global CCIA teams.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant engineering or computer science.
• Experience in regulated medical device environments.
• Some years of experience in Agile software development.
• Exposure to C# .NET and main principles of .NET Framework/.NET Core.
• Test framework knowledge.
• Manual testing experience on medical instruments.
