Overview
AlphaSense is seeking multiple transcript editors to convert recorded events into accurate, organized transcripts for client use.
What you'll do
- Edit transcripts to match the audio files verbatim.
- Review, edit, and proofread transcripts for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to company standards.
- Correct errors in grammar, punctuation, spelling, formatting, and speaker or product identification.
- Identify speaker names, product names, and numbers in the transcripts.
- Organize, format, and deliver transcripts within set deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive content.
What you'll need
- Proven experience in transcription, editing, or a related field.
- Strong listening skills to understand different accents and audio qualities.
- Excellent command of English, including grammar, syntax, and punctuation.
- Attention to detail to produce error-free work.
- Proficiency using text editing and document formatting software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs).
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple editing projects at once.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AI transcription tools.
- Broad financial literacy and general understanding of financial market concepts.
- Experience with transcription/editing of calls, webcasts, or medical reports on a short timeline.
- Experience with CK Editor or other editing software.
