Content Strategy Analyst II

Overview

Create and deliver technical content and publications about Mastercard products and services for customers, covering all stages of publishing across online, mobile and printed formats.

What you'll do

• Work with cross-functional teams and multiple Business/Product Owners to create and update technical content.
• Be accountable for the successful completion of high-quality projects within the technical writing function.
• Ensure updates are made to content in accordance with the CS&D writing standards.
• Manage day-to-day writing and publishing needs to deliver content online through multiple channels including web and mobile.
• Provide excellent customer service to business partners and customers.
• Author in XML or markdown, a tool utilized for content creation and editing.
• Publish technical content to multiple platforms and output types, such as PDF, HTML, Wiki and online help file generation.
• Research, evaluate, select and implement new enterprise-wide processes and technologies.

• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Experience with or prepared to learn content management system (CMS) and other authoring tools, such as Ixiasoft, Oxygen, XML, xMetal and Visual Studio Code.
• Basic understanding of DITA/XML, HTML and PDF.
• Familiarity with taxonomy and entitlements within HTML, Markdown and XML.
• Willingness to learn and expand knowledge of Information Architecture.
• Willingness to mentor and train peers.
• Experience with MSTP/Chicago/any other technical publication guidelines.
• Abide by Mastercard's security policies and practices, ensure confidentiality and integrity of information accessed, report suspected information security violations or breaches, and complete all periodic mandatory security trainings.
