Corporate Actions Analyst

Overview

Corporate Actions Analyst in the Trading and Operations division, handling end-to-end processing of mandatory and voluntary corporate actions and stock transfers for clients across APAC, EMEA and US.

What you'll do

• Process all Corporate Action events, both mandatory and voluntary, within IG systems accurately and in a timely manner
• Send client emails describing corporate action events and election choices
• Collate client instructions
• Prepare client bookings
• Post client dividends across product ranges in different IG systems
• Perform synthetic dividend reconciliation
• Handle client queries and queries from the helpdesk
• Update static data within IG internal systems accurately
• Resolve reconciliation issues arising out of corporate action events
• Use data analytical tools to analyze data, generate insightful reports and streamline processes through automation
• Meet monthly KPIs and targets
• Support the implementation of various projects within Corporate Actions

What you'll need

• A minimum of 3-4 years' experience in financial services
• Good understanding of Corporate Actions
• Advanced Excel knowledge, including Macro, VBA and Power Query
• Familiarity with the risks associated with corporate action events, including client money
• Ability to work with a great deal of attention to detail
• Great team player
• Self-motivation and organization, with the ability to manage your own time and tasks effectively
• Good communication skills

Nice to have

• Strong data analytical skills such as Tableau
