Cost Accounting Junior Analyst

Overview

Finance Analyst in the Global Financial Services team responsible for inventory reconciliations and financial analysis for the Americas Region, supporting the senior finance accountant on controlling activities at all levels, including the C&C/Operational Center in India.

What you'll do

• Provide Inventories KPIs data
• Understand the Inventory Finance end-to-end process
• Communicate closely with internal and external stakeholders and raise any risks on time
• Drive continuous improvement
• Perform daily and monthly analysis on inventory tasks and maintain a backup plan
• Analyze and prepare journal entries
• Execute the annual inventory revaluation, based on market responsibility
• Review and approve monthly balance sheet analysis following Haleon policies and guidelines
• Perform quality financial validations and proactive actions before and during month-end close
• Fulfil internal controls monthly
• Follow up on issues from the monthly MEC meeting
• Coordinate SOP updates and any internal control requirements per the ICFW Haleon guideline
• Perform financial analysis as per business needs
• Achieve quality and accuracy of data on Haleon import costing and local added value impacts

What you'll need

• Graduated from a technical school (cost accounting preferable)
• Bachelor's degree completed or to be completed in Business Administration, Accounting, or Industrial Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, shared services, or cost accounting
• Intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills in MS Office
• Advanced English level (NA: >90%, LATAM: >80%)
• At least 2 areas of expertise within Haleon (for internal candidates)
• Analytical data skills and fact-based decision making
• Ability to organize and understand financial data in Excel spreadsheets
• Ability to understand business needs, promote open conversations, and achieve goals

• Awareness of Haleon guidelines and policies
• Works under low to minimal supervision
