Counselor Training Specialist- Ahmedabad

Overview

Counselor Training Specialist based in Ahmedabad, responsible for developing doctors, optometrists, counselors and paramedical staff of eye hospitals through structured scientific informative training programs.

What you'll do

• Ensure HCPs are well equipped with knowledge of procedures and products.
• Contribute to technology reach and adoption goals in this segment through training initiatives across assigned product ranges.
• Ensure internal and external customer delight and help grow assigned category.
• Educate and make JJSV brands the preferred choice through training.
• Build and supervise opportunities for internal team members.
• Build in-house training plans as per customer requirement and implement them.
• Maintain a positive relationship with customers with the goal of improving category outcomes by assessment, critique and training.
• Communicate and empower via direct meetings and interactions with surgeons, administrators and key decision makers.
• Augment the sales efforts in competition account conversion.

What you'll need

• A bachelor's degree in optometry is mandatory.
• 1-2 years of working experience as a trainer, counselor, optometrist or in the sales domain, with thorough understanding of managed care.
• Comfortable carrying out training programs in a hybrid model, virtual and in-person.
• Proficiency in English and Hindi.

Nice to have

• A master's degree or MBA.
• An optometrist with experience of delivering trainings.
• Knowledge of the local language Gujarati.

Details

• Location: Ahmedabad (HQ), covering entire Gujarat and Rajasthan.
• Field-based job with 50-60% travel outside Ahmedabad HQ.
• Hybrid work model: virtual and in-person training.
