Creative Director (AI)

Overview

Creative Director (AI) (Group Creative Director) leads creative direction, unblocks delivery, and drives AI adoption in creative workflows.

What you'll do

• Step in as a hands-on problem-solver when creative, production, motion, or AI workflow issues arise.
• Identify creative and technical blockers early and resolve them before they affect quality or timelines.
• Set visual and conceptual tone across campaigns, brands, and platforms.
• Partner with strategy and account leadership to develop creative briefs.
• Scope, plan, and protect work by anticipating friction and building timelines and resource plans.
• Lead creative teams by mentoring and setting the creative culture tone.
• Own the AI creative frontier by designing AI-assisted workflows and upskilling the department.

What you'll need

• 15+ years of experience in creative roles, with a significant portion in agency environments.
• Proven experience leading creative departments or large multi-disciplinary creative teams.
• A portfolio demonstrating range across brand, campaign, digital, and experiential work.
• Genuine proficiency across modern creative production areas including design, art direction, motion, digital, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Active working knowledge of leading generative AI tools (image, video, language, audio).
• Experience designing or implementing AI into creative and production workflows.
• Comfort presenting and communicating in boardroom, pitch, and internal critique settings.
