Overview
Credit Analyst responsible for gathering, analysing, and presenting risk data to support decision-making, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain credit, market, operational, liquidity, and regulatory risk reports.
- Extract risk data from internal systems, risk models, and external market feeds.
- Analyse risk data to identify trends, patterns, outliers, and exposure impacts.
- Monitor risk indicators and metrics for emerging risks and mitigation effectiveness.
- Implement risk reporting improvements and automation initiatives.
- Deliver regulatory, management, or portfolio risk reporting within tight timelines.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Experience in banking or financial services.
- Strong experience in retail credit risk management, risk analytics, or risk reporting.
- Hands-on experience with SAS, SQL, Python, Databricks, AWS, Tableau or Power BI, and Advanced Excel.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality controls, and reporting validation.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within tight reporting timelines.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of BCBS239, data lineage, and reporting control frameworks.
- Exposure to AI/GenAI-powered automation and reporting solutions.
- Experience with cross-functional Technology, Finance, Data, and Risk teams.
