Data Product Management Consultant

Overview

Work on low- to moderate-complexity data product initiatives, supporting data enablement, roadmaps, requirements, governance, and stakeholder solutions.

What you'll do

• Participate in data product initiatives and identify roadmap improvements.
• Analyze business, operational, and technical challenges to develop data strategies and deliverables.
• Present recommendations for data product situations and support prioritization and architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and build data product solutions.
• Manage datasets in line with consumer needs, data governance, and standards.
• Create and maintain data product roadmaps, specifications, requirements, and flows.
• Communicate data problems and initiatives to varied audiences.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of data product or data management experience, or equivalent experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and Hadoop.
• Proficiency in Tableau for reporting and visualization.
• Understanding of product management concepts and processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of business analysis experience.
• Experience supporting or participating in cloud data migration initiatives.
• Ability to use Python for data analysis, automation, and process improvement.
• Familiarity with Alteryx for data preparation, transformation, and analytics workflows.
