Credit/Infra – Associate

Overview

Support US tax compliance work within PwC's Tax Services practice, covering validation of client tax data, preparation and filing of returns, and review of financial information tied to compliance obligations.

What you'll do

• Assist in the calculation of State and Foreign (IRC 1446, IRC 1441) tax withholdings
• Assist in the review of non-resident state withholding waivers forms
• Review tax forms 1065, 1120, 588, 1099, W-8, 8832, 8875, 8865, 8937, 8082, 966
• Perform Federal K-1 schedule and State K-1 schedule review for all Partners
• Prepare and review tax work papers that calculate partnership taxable income
• Gather and analyze financial information from underlying portfolio companies
• Track partnership/partner tax basis
• Assist with the preparation and review of quarterly income estimates
• Prepare ASC 740 tax provision workpapers
• Participate in process documentation efforts and the creation of SOPs
• Identify process gaps and initiate process improvement projects
• Provide support on miscellaneous projects and ad-hoc requests

What you'll need

• Postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• 1-3 years' experience in US Taxation, with a focus on Partnership and Corporate fund structures
• Experience in Private Equity, Real Estate, Hedge Fund, Credit, and/or Fund-of-Fund structures
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Strong multi-tasking capabilities and can deliver under tight deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate and partner with multiple stakeholders
• English spoken and written capabilities are required
• Highly effective communicator with exceptional attention to detail and documentation standards
• A desire to work in an international team environment, often under pressure and with multiple stakeholders
