Credit Portfolio Senior Analyst - Assistant Vice President

Overview

The Credit Portfolio Senior Analyst (Assistant Vice President) in Citi's Institutional Credit Management Collateral Risk team supports the measurement, monitoring and management of collateral risk across Citi's global collateralized lending portfolio.

What you'll do

• Assist senior team members in reviewing collateral-related risks and creating collateral risk frameworks.
• Take a lead role in collateral-related projects (business/asset specific, capital/Basel related, etc.).
• Act as the focal point for all key queries and escalations regarding collateral for lending activities.
• Take ownership of the first-line risk agenda in all relevant governance bodies.
• Develop into a leadership role to further build out the team and framework globally.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-10 years relevant experience in Financial Services (or strategy consulting), including credit extension/management in corporate lending, ideally across 2 or more regions.
• Highly analytical and creative mindset.
• Strong and impactful presentation skills.
• Track record in building internal relationships and cross-functional processes.
• Ability to work well under pressure, in a front office environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of the characteristics of individual collateral types, particularly real estate, physical assets and other non-financial collateral.
• Familiarity with risk and regulatory capital frameworks in the context of the banking book.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Citi's organizational structure and infrastructure.
• Understanding of regulatory capital (e.g. CCAR, Basel III) fundamentals and/or stress testing (not required).
