Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Deliver scalable, high-performing solutions using modern frameworks and agile practices while supporting Japanese-language communication for SAP AMS activities.

What you'll do

• Develop custom software solutions tailored to specific business needs.
• Design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications.
• Perform independently and become an SME.
• Participate actively and contribute to team discussions.
• Provide solutions to work-related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and maintain high-quality standards.
• Interpret Japanese English for SAP AMS meetings, KT sessions, and incident/change discussions.
• Translate SAP functional and technical documents accurately.
• Work during Japanese business time.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Japanese Language.
• 15 years of full-time education.
• Proficiency in Japanese Language.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and agile practices.
• Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues effectively.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Japanese level N2 or N1.

Nice to have

• SAP AMS experience or willingness to learn SAP.
