Software Engineer

Overview

Software Engineer responsible for building and improving backend systems and applications supporting trading infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Contribute to backend systems across databases, APIs, and applications.
• Design, build, and maintain applications for business requirements.
• Architect scalable and reliable applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, engineers, and system administrators.
• Develop reusable code and libraries.
• Lead projects as needed.

What you'll need

• 3–4 years of relevant experience designing and improving information systems.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Extensive experience with relational databases and large datasets.
• Understanding of object-oriented and asynchronous programming.
• Knowledge of Linux systems and Bash scripting.
• Engineering degree, preferably in Computer Science, from a Tier 1 college.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services.
• Understanding of system design decisions.
• Experience leading small teams or projects.
