Overview
Builds, configures, and publishes Microsoft Copilot Studio agents end-to-end, designing topics, knowledge sources and generative answers, and extending agent capabilities through Power Automate, MCP Server tool connections and Azure AI Foundry-hosted models where needed.
What you'll do
- Design and build Copilot Studio agents, including topics, trigger phrases, entities, variables, and conversation/agent flows.
- Configure generative orchestration, knowledge sources, and generative answers to ground agent responses accurately.
- Build and maintain Power Automate flows to extend agent actions, handle backend processes, and connect to line-of-business systems.
- Implement and consume MCP Server tool/plugin connections to extend agent capabilities beyond native Copilot Studio actions.
- Configure and test agent publishing across channels (Teams, web, custom apps) and manage environment/ALM practices (dev-test-prod).
- Tune agent behavior, instructions, and prompts within Copilot Studio; use Azure AI Foundry for advanced model selection or custom grounding (e.g., RAG) when native capabilities aren't sufficient.
- Conduct unit-level testing of topics, flows, and tool integrations; troubleshoot conversational breakdowns and connector/plugin issues.
- Apply responsible AI practices, including bias, safety, and hallucination checks, during agent development.
- Collaborate with Architect/Team Lead on agent design, security, and ALM alignment; participate in code/config reviews.
