Software Engineer II B - GBS IND

Overview

Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications within Client Protection Technologies (CPT), which builds fraud prevention, fraud alert management, claims and authentication solutions, working in an agile development team.

What you'll do

• Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications that support business units or supporting functions.
• Work on application program solutions that may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools.
• Learn quickly, suggest new technologies and try proofs of concept (POCs) that can help the project.
• Work well in a supportive and transparent agile team environment, researching and resolving issues independently.
• Provide proactive technical support to L2/L3 teams.

What you'll need

• Graduation or post graduation: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc. (Computer Science, IT, S/W, Mathematics, Electronics, Physics, Statistics).
• 4-6 years of experience.
• Hadoop platform development (Hive, HQL, Sqoop).
• Experience in Data Spark/Scala.
• Experience in UNIX/Shell scripting.
• Knowledge of batch schedulers.
• Experience in Java application development.
• Experience in Spark.
• Experience with Spring (Framework, ORM, MVC, Integration, Batch, Services).
• Experience with SOA, REST/SOAP web services, JSON/XML.
• Experience with any of these source control tools: BitBucket/Git, Subversion (SVN), Perforce.
• Experience with Agile/iterative development and full SDLC development.
• Good communication skills and the ability to engage and influence teams across technology and business.

Nice to have

• Autosys experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of Java.
• Experience with BitBucket/Git source control tool and Jenkins.
• Experience in the banking domain.
• Good to have knowledge of Python.
• Good to have knowledge of AI basics and tools.

• Location: Hyderabad.
• Work timings: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM IST.
