Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Design, develop and enhance custom software solutions across systems or applications, using modern frameworks and agile practices, with a focus on BlueYonder Workforce Management.

What you'll do

• Act as a subject matter expert, collaborating with and managing the team to deliver.
• Take responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration into project workflows.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in BlueYonder Workforce Management.
• Proficiency in BlueYonder Workforce Management.
• 15 years full time education.
• Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
• Experience in designing and implementing custom software components using modern programming frameworks.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with integration techniques and working across multiple system environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality, maintainable code.
