Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Develop and operate cloud-native platforms as a DevOps Engineer, focusing on Kubernetes, AWS, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, reliability, security, and production support.

What you'll do

• Develop and optimize Terraform infrastructure-as-code solutions for AWS.
• Design Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management.
• Build and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines integrated with GitHub.
• Configure and maintain Kubernetes and Amazon EKS environments.
• Deploy applications using Helm, Kustomize, and GitOps methods.
• Monitor platforms, resolve production incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
• Implement security, scaling, disaster recovery, and platform upgrade activities.

What you'll need

• At least 3 years of experience is required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Kubernetes, AWS, DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation is stated.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and Amazon EKS administration.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Helm, and Kustomize.
• Strong AWS, Linux administration, Bash, and Python skills.
• 15 years of full-time education.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitOps platforms such as Argo CD and Flux.
• Knowledge of observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Elastic Stack, OpenTelemetry, and Splunk.
• Experience with multi-region cloud architectures, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
• AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, or DevOps certifications.
