Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Lead a technical role for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce solutions, bridging retail and digital commerce processes through solution architecture, extension development, integrations, and delivery ownership.

What you'll do

• Lead solution and feature design for D365 Commerce (e-commerce, POS, Commerce Scale Unit).
• Translate business processes into technical and functional specifications and guide architecture decisions.
• Architect and deliver scalable omnichannel solutions using D365 Commerce configuration, extensions, and integrations.
• Own integration design and implementation using Commerce APIs, Dataverse, Power Platform, and Azure integration services.
• Drive program prioritization and dependency alignment across store/POS, e-commerce, and CSU releases.
• Lead incident response and on-call procedures for commerce production systems.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps for commerce assets.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7.5 years of experience (project role requirement).
• 10-12+ years of experience for application design, development, and delivery (education/experience section).
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce with end-to-end omnichannel implementations.
• Strong experience in D365 Commerce extension development, including Modern POS and Commerce Runtime extension patterns.
• Deep knowledge of Commerce data flows for store and online channels, including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Commerce APIs and integration patterns (OData/REST, event-driven) for multiple commerce-related services.
• Understanding of OAuth 2.0 and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) / managed identities for secure auth.
