Overview

As a Custom Software Engineer, design and develop tailored software components that integrate within larger systems or applications. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient software solutions using contemporary development methodologies and frameworks.

What you'll do

• Design, code, test, enhance, and refine custom software components across systems or applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into software solutions.
• Collaborate with and manage the team to perform as a subject matter expert.
• Make team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within project workflows.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to align project goals and ensure timely delivery of software components.
• Use modern frameworks, software development lifecycle practices, and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 year(s) of experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP EWM.
• 15 years full time education.
• Proficiency in SAP EWM.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management processes and their integration within enterprise resource planning systems.
• Experience customizing and extending SAP EWM functionalities to meet unique business requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within SAP EWM environments.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle practices and agile methodologies.
• Competence in collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver cohesive software solutions.
