Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Design, code and enhance custom software components across systems and applications, with a focus on Elastic Stack (ELK) based solutions, as a senior subject matter expert leading a team.

What you'll do

• Act as a subject matter expert, collaborating with and managing the team to perform.
• Take responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the planning and execution of software development activities to meet project goals.
• Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align software solutions with business objectives.

What you'll need

• Must have: proficiency in Elastic Stack (ELK).
• Minimum 7.5 years of experience in Elastic Stack (ELK).
• 15 years of full-time education.
• Experience with log management, data ingestion, and real-time analytics using Elastic Stack components.
• Strong knowledge of system monitoring, alerting, and visualization techniques.
• Ability to optimize and troubleshoot Elastic Stack deployments for performance and scalability.
• Familiarity with integrating Elastic Stack with various data sources and applications.
