Custom Software Engineer role focused on designing, coding, and enhancing tailored software solutions across systems and applications using modern frameworks and agile practices.

What you'll do

• Design and develop tailored software solutions to enhance system components or applications.
• Deliver technology solutions aligned with business needs prioritized by value stream leads.
• Collaborate with scrum teams, neighboring squads, and release trains to support delivery.
• Work with operations and business representatives to deliver mutually agreed value-focused solutions.
• Contribute to evolving software architectures through iterative development cycles.
• Automate routine tasks to improve productivity and decrease time to deliver.
• Optimize infrastructure costs through efficient database design.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Kubernetes.
• Expert-level experience building well-architected applications on AWS Cloud and Kubernetes.
• Experience developing and designing cloud-native applications targeted to AWS.
• Expertise designing and running container-based applications using Docker.
• Knowledge of microservices-based architectures.
• Expert craftsman on test-first Test-Driven Development (TDD).
