Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Lead the effort to design, build and configure applications as a Custom Software Engineer, acting as the primary point of contact. Own the project lifecycle, coordinate with stakeholders and guide the delivery of high-quality, scalable software products tailored to business needs.

What you'll do

• Lead the design, development and configuration of software applications.
• Collaborate with and manage the team to perform as a subject matter expert.
• Take responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to project standards.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Take ownership of the project lifecycle and coordinate with various stakeholders.
• Maintain proactive communication and solve challenges arising during development.
• Guide the team and manage project priorities.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Cloud.
• 15 years full time education.
• Proficiency in SAP ABAP Cloud.
• Strong experience in developing and customizing SAP applications using ABAP programming language.
• Ability to design and implement complex business logic and workflows within the SAP environment.
• Familiarity with cloud-based development and deployment models specific to SAP solutions.
• Experience in debugging, performance tuning and optimizing SAP ABAP code for efficient execution.
• Knowledge of integration techniques between SAP and other enterprise systems.
