Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Develop and enhance custom software and Oracle analytics solutions as an OBIEE Developer. Build scalable business intelligence components using OBIEE, OAS, ODI, BI Publisher, SQL, PL-SQL, and data warehousing technologies.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain OBIEE/OAS dashboards, analyses, and BI Publisher reports.
• Design and enhance RPDs across the Physical, BMM, and Presentation Layers.
• Create Subject Areas, Logical Table Sources (LTS), and metadata models.
• Implement row-level security and data filters.
• Develop ETL solutions using ODI.
• Perform query optimization, cache management, and performance tuning.
• Support production issues, enhancements, and migrations.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 year(s) of experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of OBIEE-OAS development experience.
• 15 years full time education.
• Expertise in OBIEE, OAS, ODI, BI Publisher, SQL, PL-SQL, and Data Warehousing.
• Experience in RPD Development across Physical, BMM, and Presentation Layers.
• Experience with Subject Areas, LTS, and Aggregate Navigation.
• Experience in Dashboard and Analysis Development.
• Experience in BI Publisher (BIP).
• Experience in ODI Development.
• Experience with Data Warehousing, Star/Snowflake Schema.
• Experience with Row-Level Security and Application Roles.
• Experience with Performance Tuning and Cache Management.
• Experience with Unix/Linux and Shell Scripting.
• Experience with Git/SVN.
• Strong experience in RPD Development and BI Reporting.
• Hands-on experience in ODI, SQL-PLSQL, and Data Warehousing.

Nice to have

• Experience in Banking/Financial services domain is preferred.
• Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
• Experience with Informatica.
• Experience with AWS-Azure Cloud.
• Experience with Tableau-Power BI.
