Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Develop and maintain full-stack enterprise applications using Java, Spring, React, and related technologies. The role covers backend services, frontend enhancements, API integration, and application modernization.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Jakarta Servlet, and Spring.
• Modernize applications by migrating legacy libraries and frameworks.
• Design and enhance user interfaces with React.js and JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs between frontend and backend systems.
• Apply secure coding practices and enterprise standards.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and development teams on software delivery.

What you'll need

• 5 to 8 years of relevant software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Jakarta EE Servlet API, and Spring Framework.
• Proficiency in React.js, JavaScript ES6+, and TypeScript.
• Experience with scalable enterprise applications and RESTful services.
• Knowledge of React Hooks, state management, and component lifecycle.
• 15 years of full-time education.
• Understanding of secure coding, JWT-OAuth authentication, and application security standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with legacy-to-modern framework migration.
• Experience in banking or financial services technology.
• University degree in Computer Science, Banking, or equivalent working experience.
