Custom Software Engineering Lead

Overview

Lead the technical direction and architecture of custom software solutions, guiding teams through design and delivery. The role includes leading an AI pod delivering an agentic AI solution for an enterprise data migration project.

What you'll do

• Lead the end-to-end AI solution architecture and agent orchestration.
• Guide the development of AI agents for discovery, reverse engineering, STTM, and data ingestion.
• Define and implement LLM, RAG, tool calling, context management, and agentic workflows.
• Establish AI evaluation, guardrails, observability, and production readiness practices.
• Work with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into AI solutions.
• Lead the AI pod, drive technical decisions, and mentor team members.
• Ensure AI solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
• Set development standards and ensure code quality, scalability, and performance aligned to business objectives.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7.5 years of experience in Python (Programming Language).
• 8–12+ years overall, with relevant experience in AI/ML, Generative AI, or solution architecture.
• Strong experience in Agentic AI / Generative AI / LLM-based solutions.
• Hands-on understanding of RAG, prompt engineering, tool calling, and agent orchestration.
• Experience with AI evaluation, guardrails, and observability.
• Good understanding of data migration, ETL, data mapping, or data engineering.
• Strong solution architecture, technical leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• 15 years full-time education.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lang Graph, Lang Chain, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or similar AI platforms.
