Custom Software Engineering Lead

Overview

Own the technical direction and architecture of custom software solutions, leading teams through design and delivery, and set development standards that ensure code quality, scalability and performance aligned to business objectives.

What you'll do

• Oversee the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects.
• Guide teams through the entire lifecycle of software design and implementation.
• Act as an SME, collaborate with and manage the team, and make team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on project goals.
• Mentor and support junior team members to enhance their skills and professional growth.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize development workflows and team productivity.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
• Proficiency in ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
• Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and best practices for custom software development.
• Experience in managing and leading software engineering teams through complex project deliveries.
• Ability to design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions.
• Familiarity with risk management and compliance frameworks within software development environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions.
• 15 years full time education.
