Custom Software Engineering Lead

Overview

Own the technical direction and architecture of custom software solutions, leading teams through design and delivery as a Custom Software Engineering Lead.

What you'll do

• Act as the subject matter expert, collaborating with and managing the team to perform.
• Take responsibility for team decisions and contribute on key decisions across multiple teams.
• Provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the establishment and enforcement of coding standards and best practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to drive project success.
• Mentor and support team members to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Automated Testing.
• 15 years full time education.
• Proficiency in Automated Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Expertise in Rest Assured for API test automation.
• Experience with Service Virtualization and/or Data Mocking tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of AI Prompt Engineering and the application of AI-assisted solutions in software testing and quality engineering.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes.
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies.
• Ability to design and implement scalable automated test suites that improve efficiency and test coverage.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to support automated testing.
• Skilled in analyzing test results and collaborating with development teams to resolve defects effectively.
• Strong understanding of test strategy, automation architecture, and quality engineering best practices.
