Customer Operations Associate

Overview

As a Customer & Experience Associate, you’ll support new and existing customers and insurance agents who refer business to Ethos.

What you'll do

• Ensure accurate communication to agents about policy status and agent compensation.
• Work in systems that handle consumer policy information and partner agent systems.
• Understand and communicate complex agent payment and contract details.
• Answer incoming inquiries and provide service via email, live chat, SMS, and phone.
• Identify customer/agent needs and process requests within defined service levels.
• Support customers and agents by applying knowledge of Ethos products and processes.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate with management to implement solutions.

What you'll need

• 1–3 years of experience in customer support, customer success, operations, or a related role.
• Detail-oriented work, especially with agent compensation and contract details.
• Strong communication skills, including written and phone communications.
• Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization.
• Ability to solve problems and a strong drive to do so.
• Adaptability to changes while maintaining attention to detail.
