Customer Service Specialist

Overview

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key customer accounts, handling orders, inquiries, delivery commitments and demand planning.

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key customer accounts.
• Process customer orders, provide order confirmation and ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage customer inquiries through phone, email, and customer portals.
• Coordinate with Sales, Material planning, Production, Purchasing, Engineering, Finance, and Quality teams to resolve customer issues.
• Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates, risks, and delivery commitments to customers.
• Perform demand analysis and maintain customer forecasts in alignment with customer requirements and business plans.
• Review demand trends and collaborate with planning teams to support inventory and production planning activities.
• Perform periodic order reconciliation with customers.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in Key Account Management, Customer Service, Sales Support, or Commercial Operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across functions and customer organizations.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• High level of accountability and ownership.
