Customer Support Engineer

Overview

Customer Support Engineer responsible for supporting and troubleshooting software applications and resolving customer issues.

What you'll do

• Support and troubleshoot software applications.
• Manage customer cases/issues through to resolution.
• Verify, reproduce, and isolate software faults reported by customers.
• Answer customer queries through investigation and clear communication using reference materials.
• Serve as a customer advocate throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Participate in shift work and a global 24x7 on-call duty roster for critical (P1) issues.
• Perform account management tasks like case reviews and customer conference calls.

What you'll need

• Engineering degree (B.E/B.Tech Full Time) in Computer Science or IT with CGPA 7.5 or higher.
• 3-5 years of experience in Technical/Product support (Application Support).
• At least 2 years supporting Enterprise Software Solutions.
• Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills across applications/technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Java, XML, Apache, and client-server applications.
• Working knowledge of MS SQL Server and Oracle.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Details

• Location: Chennai.
• Must be willing to work shifts based on business needs.
• Travel as needed and work extended hours under tight deadlines when required.
