Customers Procurement Manager, Castrol

Overview

Customers Procurement Manager role within Castrol (bp Group) based in Mumbai, responsible for indirect procurement delivery for a region/asset and alignment to category plans and business priorities.

What you'll do

• Deliver procurement performance for the region/asset, meeting safety and compliance metrics.
• Consolidate demand plans and align regional needs with category plans.
• Manage suppliers and coordinate interventions to ensure timely resolution and prevent leakage.
• Oversee indirect spend categories (e.g., marketing, retail assets, professional services, real estate, facilities management, engineering & maintenance, CAPEX projects, travel & events).
• Coordinate with relevant procurement/sourcing teams to deliver priorities and category plans.
• Drive transformation by optimizing digital solutions and leading modernization activities for regional procurement delivery.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree or post graduate qualification in Procurement (or equivalent relevant professional experience).
• Functional knowledge of developing and maintaining business context and strategic direction, priorities, partners, and strategy.
• Knowledge of category management principles and how strategies flow through to execution in regions/assets.
• Partner management and influencing skills to understand supported businesses/regions/assets and long-term objectives.
• Critical thinking and commercial acumen, including navigating complex multi-national businesses.
• Ability to lead initiatives internationally and recognize cultural nuances while using agile/flexible approaches.
