Overview
Develop cybersecurity features for Aptiv automotive products in the areas of Active Safety and User-Experience. Contribute to secure embedded software development, testing, vulnerability remediation and release evidence.
What you'll do
- Contribute feasibility estimates and identify implementation risks.
- Refine requirements and detailed design, and define the unit-test approach.
- Code, review, integrate and debug security features.
- Execute tests, close findings and provide release evidence.
- Analyze field issues and vulnerabilities, and implement maintainable fixes.
- Implement secure boot, secure flashing/update, secure diagnostics, crypto/HSM services, secure communication, authentication, authorization and security logging.
- Perform detailed design, coding, unit testing, static analysis and bench debugging.
- Analyze vulnerabilities and defects, and implement and verify remediation.
- Maintain traceability and development evidence in accordance with quality and cybersecurity plans.
- Participate in peer reviews, threat-informed design discussions and continuous improvement.
What you'll need
- Experience with embedded C/C++, microcontrollers, RTOS/Linux and debugging tools.
- Experience with AUTOSAR, CAN/CAN FD, Ethernet, UDS and secure-software development.
- Knowledge of applied cryptography, key handling and common embedded attack surfaces.
- Experience with unit testing, static analysis, configuration management, CI/CD and Automotive SPICE.

- HSM integration.

- Exposure to ISO/SAE 21434.
