Overview

Lead SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) compliance and security consulting engagements, delivering end-to-end solutions, advising clients and stakeholders, and managing teams and direct reports.

What you'll do

• Manage multiple Global Trade solution projects.
• Manage teams and work with geographically split teams.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and the leadership team to achieve business objectives.
• Work on all phases of SAP GTS implementation, including blueprinting, gap analysis, mapping, prototypes, design, developing, testing, go-live, user training and post-production support.
• Work with the technology organization and business representatives to determine business processes and solution design using SAP GTS Compliance, Customs and Risk Management capabilities.
• Develop and implement User Exits, Enhancements, Reports and transaction objects, Scripts, BAPIs, and internal and external integration technologies.
• Manage a team of Analysts, Consultants and Solution Architects.
• Conduct appraisals and provide feedback for direct reports.
• Plan career progression for direct reports.
• Prepare consulting-level slide decks showcasing GTS architecture, RFPs and SoWs.
• Validate outcomes with clients, share alternative perspectives and act on client feedback.
• Direct teams through complex, ambiguous, challenging and uncertain situations.
• Initiate open and honest coaching conversations at all levels.
• Make difficult decisions and take action to resolve issues hindering team effectiveness.
• Model and reinforce professional and technical standards, the Firm's code of conduct and independence requirements.

What you'll need

• 12-15 years of experience.
• Experience managing multiple Global Trade solution projects.
• Experience managing teams and working with geographically split teams.
• Extensive knowledge in Global Trade design, architecture and end-to-end solution integration.
• Excellent understanding of Global Trade standards and regulations.
• Experience working on multiple client engagements in design, solution and architecture.
• Ability to work as an individual team player with thought leadership.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to craft and convey clear, impactful and engaging messages that tell a holistic story.
• Ability to apply systems thinking to identify underlying problems and/or opportunities.
• Ability to deepen and evolve expertise with a focus on staying relevant.
• Ability to develop and sustain high-performing, diverse and inclusive teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Communications or a related field from reputed Indian universities.
• Communication, business development, thought leadership and managerial skills.
• Demonstrated extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success assisting in client-facing or internal enterprise engagement and project delivery, practice development, business development and thought leadership.
• Ability to manage and/or contribute to project planning, engagement administration, budget management and successful completion of project workstreams.
• Ability to communicate in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats, including delivering clear requests for information and communicating potential conflicts.
• Ability to assist business development teams writing and presenting proposals to prospective clients and fostering and maintaining lasting relationships with senior executives.
• Ability to identify and address client needs and industry trends, contribute to developing a business vision and manage implementation efforts with complex project management capabilities.
• Ability to manage client and account relationships, identify opportunities and develop the appropriate approach to successfully close and deliver engagements.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA LTC and PTP.
• Knowledge of S/4HANA International Trade.
• Previous consulting or Big 4 experience.
• Experience assisting in client-facing or internal enterprise engagement and project delivery, practice development, business development and thought leadership, preferably for a global network of professional services firms or an enterprise privacy office/program.
