Principal Engineering Program Manager

Overview

Leads complex, cross-functional engineering programs for multiple products or service offerings within a global business unit. Owns program strategy, execution, stakeholder communication, cost management, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Lead engineering development and implementation programs across multiple functions and teams.
• Develop program strategies, budgets, resource plans, and requirements.
• Manage internal teams and external development partners.
• Communicate progress, escalations, and issue analysis to stakeholders.
• Drive technology, quality, and process improvements.
• Review program plans for compliance with management standards.
• Mentor less-experienced program management staff.

What you'll need

• Typically 10+ years of experience.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in business management, engineering, computer sciences, or an equivalent field.
• Experience managing cross-business-unit programs and matrixed teams.
• Experience creating and managing project and program planning tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and the local language.
• Ability to communicate program plans and negotiate options at business-unit level.

Nice to have

• PMP or PMI certification.
