D&T Manager – Software Engineering

Overview

You will lead a software engineering team supporting the Palantir software engineering portfolio and building scalable, high-quality end-to-end digital solutions.

What you'll do

• Lead and develop a team of software engineers and technical leads to achieve goals.
• Hire, onboard, and grow engineering talent; run performance feedback and development discussions.
• Plan, prioritize, and oversee software development work across multiple teams.
• Review scope, requirements, and resource needs to staff teams effectively.
• Coach and mentor direct reports to strengthen team capability.
• Drive collaboration and strong execution across teams and partners.
• Manage external vendor support, including contractor onboarding/offboarding and engagement.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of experience in software development projects.
• 5+ years of experience managing medium to large software engineering teams with 15+ members.
• Hands-on object-oriented programming and .NET stack knowledge (C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, APIs, JavaScript).
• Experience building modern web applications using React or Angular.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle, engineering best practices, and testing methodologies.
• Working knowledge of SQL and database programming.

Nice to have

• Experience with low-code platforms.
• Experience building cloud-native applications and microservices.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Exposure to modern data and analytics environments (data warehouse, ETL, AI/ML).
• Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps.
