Data Analyst

Overview

Data Analyst role in Gartner’s Insights and Product Analytics (IPA) organization, working on analytics to support business performance and client retention.

What you'll do

• Contribute to problem structuring, analysis, and execution for key strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with data science and data engineering teams to support scalable analytics solutions.
• Analyze large datasets to derive meaningful business insights.
• Support efforts to leverage Gartner’s proprietary data.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and build tailored analytical solutions.

What you'll need

• 1–3 years of experience involving data or business analytics.
• Foundational understanding of data science concepts and their practical business applications.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a relevant field.
• Solid capability to analyze, interpret, and visualize data effectively.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or R.
• Ability to perform statistical analysis, identify trends/patterns, and apply standard methodologies.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
