Data Analyst with SAS

Overview

Developing Data/Information Management Intermediate Analyst role focused on MIS and business reporting, business analysis and SAS-based data work, with independent problem solving and broader business impact.

What you'll do

• Design and develop MIS and business reporting (BAU and ad hoc), business analysis and other data requirements (code, test and execute), and assist with simple analytics requirements.
• Work closely with partners across business units to understand project requirements, ensure timely delivery and partner communication with 100% accuracy, and solve business problems.
• Act as point of contact for specific deliverables and lead projects and delivery (hands-on).
• Develop consistency across reports, develop meaningful dashboards and publish them, and share best practices across the Information Solutions group.
• Participate in timely partner communication and attend business calls.
• Work on data-driven solutions and critical initiatives, and identify opportunities to drive data analytics solutions and add value to the business.
• Ensure on-time delivery and quick turnaround, multi-task and manage multiple projects independently, and help junior analysts deliver with technical and non-technical guidance as required.
• Handle planning and prioritization and partner communication, and lead new transitions within tight timelines.
• Automate BAU processes, develop self-service solutions and deliver business value.

What you'll need

• Established competency in one or more of the following: 4-6 years of relevant work experience in MIS / Reporting / Data analytics / Data Management within Banking / Financial Data.
• Data manipulation and extraction of data from huge / complex databases using SAS / SQL is required.
• SAS hands-on experience is a must; should be an expert in data management, SAS etc.
• Design and development of complex reports and dashboards is required.
• Strong analytical aptitude and logical reasoning ability.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Strong process/project management skills.
• Hands-on knowledge of SAS.
• Education: Master's degree in information technology / information systems / computer applications / engineering from a premier institute; or BTech/B.E/MCA in Information Technology / Information Systems / Computer Applications with additional 2 years of experience.
