Data Architect

Overview

Own the architecture and initial build of Anchanto’s greenfield enterprise data platform. The role covers analytics, operational reporting, and secure AI data consumption through APIs and MCP.

What you'll do

• Define data lake, lakehouse, semantic-layer, and data-consumption architecture.
• Design batch, streaming, and CDC ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Model data for orders, inventory, fulfilment, logistics, marketplaces, billing, and platform performance.
• Build governed KPI definitions, dashboards, and self-service analytics.
• Enable secure AI-agent access to governed enterprise data through MCP and APIs.
• Establish data quality, lineage, PII classification, privacy controls, monitoring, SLAs, and runbooks.

What you'll need

• 10+ years across data engineering, data platforms, or data architecture.
• Experience owning architecture for enterprise data platforms.
• Experience designing and building data lake, warehouse, or lakehouse platforms.
• Strong SQL, data modelling, pipeline design, and cloud-native skills.
• Experience with governance, data quality, lineage, PII, and privacy controls.
• Hands-on capability to validate designs and build during the early phase.

Nice to have

• Experience in eCommerce, logistics, marketplaces, or B2B SaaS.
• Practical experience with MCP, LLM or AI integration, semantic layers, RAG, or secure enterprise AI data access.
