Data Architect

Overview

Data Architect responsible for designing and implementing AWS cloud-native data architectures, scalable pipelines, and data processes supporting serviceability analytics, monitoring, and predictive insights.

What you'll do

• Design end-to-end cloud-native data architectures on AWS.
• Develop scalable data pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, and related services.
• Define workflows for data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and storage.
• Implement data security, compliance, governance, monitoring, and alerting.
• Optimize data models, pipelines, system designs, costs, and performance.
• Plan program increments and own feature-level architecture and requirements.
• Guide scrum teams through design, code reviews, documentation, and development practices.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree in software development, design and architecture, testing, quality assurance, or equivalent areas.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in data analytics, statistical techniques, mathematics, computer science, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with AWS S3, Lambda, Athena, API Gateway, CloudFront, ECS, and Glue.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Understanding of data modeling, partitioning strategies, and performance tuning for large datasets.
• Knowledge of data governance, quality assurance, statistical methods, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of serviceability use cases such as diagnostics, telemetry, and predictive service operations.
• Familiarity with CloudFormation for infrastructure automation.

• Location: Bangalore.
• Office-based teams work in person at least 3 days per week.
