Data Architect

Overview

Design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale data architectures that are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives. Provide technical leadership and collaborate across business and IT teams to support data-driven decision-making.

What you'll do

• Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture blueprint.
• Develop strategies for data integration, storage, retrieval, and governance.
• Design and optimize relational and non-relational database schemas.
• Oversee data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and transformation workflows.
• Integrate structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Implement data governance, security, access controls, and encryption standards.
• Mentor data professionals and lead architecture reviews.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, database design, and data engineering.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Management, or a related field.
• Strong skills in PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Cassandra.
• Proficiency in Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Experience with data modeling tools such as ERwin or PowerDesigner.
• Expertise in Hadoop, Spark, AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, or Google BigQuery.
• Experience with ETL tools and streaming technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty certification.
• Google Professional Data Engineer certification.
• Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer certification.

• Onsite role primarily based at an HPE partner or customer office.
• Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
