Overview

Data Architect role within Genpact's Data Engineering practice, responsible for creating and maintaining the architecture for big data systems to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement data strategies for large-scale data solutions.
• Design and maintain data architecture for big data systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design appropriate solutions.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for efficiency and performance.
• Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with data governance policies.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance data architecture and analytics capabilities.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or Statistics, or Master's degree in Data Science.
• Language: English (Required), Proficient - C2.
• Required skills include Databricks Platform, Data Engineering, Cloud Computing, Agile Methodology, Change Management, Client Relations, Design Thinking, Information Security, and others listed in the posting.

Nice to have

• Certified Data Management Professional (Riversand).
• Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark 3.0 or Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark (Databricks Academy).
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.
• Oracle Database 12c Certified Implementation Specialist.
