Data Architect - Data Engineering 4D

Overview

Data Architect role within the Data Engineering 4D practice at Genpact, focused on Workday-based ERP and integration solutions for Retail and Manufacturing clients.

What you'll do

• Partner with customers to understand strategies, challenges, and goals.
• Demonstrate executive presence and manage pre-sales and project execution in complex environments.
• Use facilitation, negotiation, influencing, and consensus-building skills to drive diverse teams.
• Design solutions with extensive knowledge and deep expertise for the Retail and Manufacturing industries.
• Manage end-to-end coordination of the project and be responsible for its successful completion.
• Craft and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
• Understand Workday integration execution and launch parameters.
• Develop Workday integrations.
• Manage ERP projects.

What you'll need

• Workday Payroll, Studio Integration, PICOF and PECI knowledge (mandatory).
• Workday Services Certification in Integrations and/or Payroll (must).
• Experience handling PII, compensation and confidential data.
• Knowledge of Security configuration in Workday.
• Experience working on all project phases including fit/gap.
• Hands-on integration experience in EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder).
• Workday Web Services API, XML and XSLT.
• Core Connectors: Worker and Payroll, PECI Connector.
• Cloud Connect for Worker, CCB.
• CCTPP PICOF/PECI.
• Custom Reports and Calculated Fields.
• Functional knowledge across at least one Human Resources module, including Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Absence and Payroll.
• Bachelors in Business Analytics, Computer Science or Statistics, or Masters in Data Science.
• English language proficiency at C2 (Proficient).

Nice to have

• Understanding and exposure to Orchestrations and Extend.
• Linux / Shell Scripting.
• Certifications: Certified Data Management Professional (Riversand); Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark 3.0 and Apache Spark (Databricks Academy); Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate; Oracle Database 12c Certified Implementation Specialist (Oracle).
