Data Domain Specialist

Overview

Support an enterprise Master Data Management implementation involving SAP MDG, ServiceNow integration, hierarchy build and data validation, with a focus on vendor master data and Procure-to-Pay and Supply Chain E2E process data.

What you'll do

• Design and govern MDM processes, with emphasis on SAP MDG-S vendor master data.
• Integrate SAP MDG with ServiceNow and work across complex IT environments.
• Handle large data volumes, validate data and manage data quality.
• Implement standardized End-to-End Supply Chain processes (Plan-to-Produce, Procure-to-Pay) and apply best-practice MDM methodologies.
• Manage vendor lifecycle within SAP MDG, covering creation, onboarding, maintenance and deactivation.
• Translate business requirements into MDM/MDG process design and use metrics and KPIs to find improvement opportunities.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, process owners and operational teams, influencing and driving change.
• Design robust data foundations in partnership with SMEs and key business stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 8-11 years overall experience, including 4-5 years in process-focused roles working directly with data.
• Strong Master Data Management (MDM) expertise.
• Experience with SAP MDG-S process design and governance, with emphasis on Vendor Master Data.
• Experience integrating SAP MDG with ServiceNow and working across complex IT environments.
• Experience with large data handling, validation and data quality management.
• Experience implementing standardized End-to-End Supply Chain processes (Plan-to-Produce, Procure-to-Pay) and applying best-practice MDM methodologies.
• Solid understanding of PTP (Procure-to-Pay) processes and related master data.
• Strong knowledge of Vendor lifecycle management (creation, onboarding, maintenance, deactivation) within SAP MDG.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; ability to influence, collaborate and drive change.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with structured issue-resolution capability.
• Ability to translate business requirements into MDM/MDG process design and leverage metrics/KPIs for improvement opportunities.
• Customer-service mindset with focus on quality, responsiveness and continuous improvement.
• Broad systems/IT implementation experience across SAP and integrated supply chain platforms (e.g., SAP ECC6, SAP Ariba, SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain, warehouse and logistics systems), with proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in complex business environments.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines consistently and deliver high-quality outputs.
• Experience designing robust data foundations in partnership with SMEs and key business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and understanding of its data model.
• Familiarity with SAP Ariba and supplier collaboration platforms.
• Knowledge of global compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX, data privacy regulations).
• Experience with workflow automation and integration frameworks (e.g., SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI).
• Understanding of hierarchy management and complex organizational structures.
• Experience with cloud-based MDM solutions and hybrid IT landscapes.
• Ability to design and implement data governance frameworks across multiple geographies.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Certification in SAP MDG or related SAP modules.
• Experience working in global supply chain transformation programs.
