Data & Information Architect – Finance

Overview

Design and govern the S/4HANA master data model for the Finance domain (Analyze-to-Decide and Report-to-Record), including cross-stream dependencies, as part of Lonza's Nexus business transformation program.

What you'll do

• Support A2D and R2R workstreams with design, deployment, and governance of master and transactional data architecture.
• Design and deploy master and transactional data management processes in S/4HANA and SAP MDG, including lifecycle governance and change management.
• Support global S/4HANA deployments, including template localization, data cleansing, mapping, validation, testing, and harmonization.
• Establish data governance processes and implement data quality rulesets to ensure high-quality data in S/4HANA.
• Coordinate with other data domains to ensure end-to-end integration across S/4HANA and satellite systems.
• Advise streams and stakeholders on optimal solutions and best practices to maximize value.
• Identify and document policies, standards, SOPs, and internal controls for A2D and R2R data compliance.
• Report progress to PMO and governance bodies, identify risks, and propose mitigation plans.
• Stay current with technological developments and best practices; provide training and guidance to stakeholders.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in data architecture, governance, and master data management.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAP MDG.
• Experience in global ERP deployments, data migration, and harmonization.
• Understanding of finance processes (A2D, R2R) and cross-functional dependencies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data design skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Ability to work in complex, matrixed environments with global teams.
• Proactive, strategic mindset with focus on delivering impactful results.
• High proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools.
