Data Engineer

Overview

As a Data Engineer, design, develop and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection and processing. Create data pipelines, ensure data quality and implement ETL processes to migrate and deploy data across systems.

What you'll do

• Design, develop and maintain comprehensive data solutions that support data generation, collection and processing activities.
• Create efficient data pipelines that facilitate smooth data flow and ensure high data quality.
• Implement extract, transform and load processes to migrate and deploy data across systems.
• Collaborate with different teams to align data strategies and troubleshoot data-related challenges.
• Collaborate and manage the team to perform as an SME.
• Make team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to optimize data workflows and improve system performance.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and project contributions.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to align data engineering efforts with organizational goals.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 year(s) of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
• 15 years full time education.
• Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
• Strong knowledge of data pipeline architecture and ETL process design.
• Experience in managing and optimizing cloud-based data storage and processing solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and implement effective solutions.
• Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.

• Experience with Data Engineering.
• Experience with Data Build Tool.
• Experience with Fivetran.
