Data Engineer

Overview

Maintain, improve, clean and manipulate data in the business’s operational and analytics databases. Work with software engineers, data analytics teams, data scientists and data warehouse engineers to understand and aid in implementing database requirements, analyse performance and troubleshoot existing issues.

What you'll do

• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Identify, design and implement internal process improvements, including automating manual processes, optimising data delivery and redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability.
• Build analytics tools that use the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.
• Work with Executive, Product, Data and Design stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
• Keep data separated and secure.
• Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members to assist them in building and optimising the product.
• Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in data systems.
